Cold Weather Blues...

With the cold front that has hit the whole country, this wasn't my smartest outfit choice. Those four inches of my legs were numb for hours afterwards. Oh, the sacrifices we make for fashion. But, I could not wait to wear this outfit for one more day. The color combination of the light blue and maroon is such an unordinary combination but I love it together! I can not wait to wear more outfits with this color combo!

This jacket is only available online from The Limited. If you live where it gets cold I highly recommend this jacket! Not only is it a gorgeous color, but it is super warm too! The boyfriend cut of the jacket is wearable for every shape and adds the perfect touch of chic to any outfit!

Happy Friday

Diamond Tough...

This dress is so girly and pretty! From the flirty cut to the diamond print, it is the ultimate girly dress. My favorite thing to do when something screams girly, is to pair it with tough pieces. This goes for lace, flower print, and any girly cut!

For this outfit, a tough black leather jacket and a pair of black moto booties added the perfect amount of toughness to balance out the girly dress. Add in some sparkly tights and a side braid and this look is complete!

Have a great week!

Snow Day!

The snow is coming down in New York! So basically this means I wanted to wear the coziest outfit in the world to work. This consisted of a cozy pair of velvet joggers and a big knit sweater. The UPS man questioned if I was actually wearing my pajamas to work but I just shrugged it off as he was hating on style.

Everyone stay warm (and cozy) out there!

Pink "Touque"...

Alright, I think I might have the oddest shaped head in the world. I don't know why but every time I try on a winter hat I either look like a cone head or Rolie Polie Olie. Everyone has these cute hats with pom poms on them and then I try one on and I look beyond ridiculous. While suffering with weird shaped head syndrome, I stumbled upon this hat in Old Navy. Since it was pink, I decided to give it a try with not much hope that it would work out. It was a moment of joyous relief when the hat didn't look totally awful. I finally had found my winter hat! And even better, it was only $6! Gotta love Old Navy!

I hope everyone had a great holiday and a wonderful new year to come!

Midtown....

Its official, I love midi skirts. There is just something about the retro, girly feel that I just can not get enough of! There a endless ways to wear a midi skirt that will make any look automatically chic.

For this look, I wanted to do something different so I paired the midi skirt with a boxy, tweed crop top. The end result was a outfit that mixed old school and new school. Midi skirts and crop tops just might be my new thing!

Christmas in New York

If you follow my Instagram (which you all should be) you would know that I am spending the holidays with my family in Florida! As much as I am enjoying the sunshine here, I got to have a white Christmas in New York before I left. I love the palm trees, but it is not Christmas without a little snow.

On black Friday I found this great teal midi dress at H&M for $15! Talk about a bargin. I brought it home but kept the receipt because I wasn't 100% sure about it. I was worried that a high neck, long sleeve midi dress made me look Amish. To spice it up, I paired a leather jacket and black stilettos with it. This helped make the dress more edgy and modern.

I hope everyone is having a wonderful Christmas!
