Midtown....

Its official, I love midi skirts. There is just something about the retro, girly feel that I just can not get enough of! There a endless ways to wear a midi skirt that will make any look automatically chic.

For this look, I wanted to do something different so I paired the midi skirt with a boxy, tweed crop top. The end result was a outfit that mixed old school and new school. Midi skirts and crop tops just might be my new thing!

Christmas in New York

If you follow my Instagram (which you all should be) you would know that I am spending the holidays with my family in Florida! As much as I am enjoying the sunshine here, I got to have a white Christmas in New York before I left. I love the palm trees, but it is not Christmas without a little snow.

On black Friday I found this great teal midi dress at H&M for $15! Talk about a bargin. I brought it home but kept the receipt because I wasn't 100% sure about it. I was worried that a high neck, long sleeve midi dress made me look Amish. To spice it up, I paired a leather jacket and black stilettos with it. This helped make the dress more edgy and modern.

I hope everyone is having a wonderful Christmas!

Holiday Outfit...

With all of these holiday parties it is way to get sucked into a glitter dress rutt. It is fun to switch things up with a pair of festive shorts over tights! The result will be a chic, festive look that will be different from everyone else at the party!

The key to make the shorts pop are a sheer pair of tights. I wish I had a good pair to reccomend but it seems like sheer tights will last for one wear and then a massive run will end their lives. But if anyone has any recommendations I am more than willing to try them out!

What makes this outfit perfect for the holidays is the red blazer. A blazer pulls a look together. A long, boyfriend blazer will add the perfect touch of chic to any outfit!

Merry Christmas!

Bleu Days...

There's nothing better than a casual Sunday outfit. Like I've said twenty times already this season, I just can not get enough of layering button ups and sweaters! Paired with a pair of denim and a casual, tan bootie, this look exemplifies everything about a lazy Sunday.

Have a great week!

Leather Details...

Some days you just need to rock a leather mini. I found this one on Black Friday at H&M for $15! The quality is surprisingly well for a faux leather skirt, the side zippers make the skirt even cuter! Since leather detailing is so in right now, pairing a shirt with leather detailing pulls the outfit together. The contrast between the tough leather and sweet stripes lends itself to the outfits overall vibe.

Thanks for reading :)

Triple Texture...

I'm super bummed you can't see the texture of my velvet pants, but I promise its really cool! I always love to mix up textures when I wear these pants. Today I chose to wear this adorable fur vest with leather trim. But I also love wearing the velvet pants with chambray and leather. Even though it seems like a boring, black outfit, the different textures makes it a unique outfit.

Grey Days....

Wearing white jeans after Labor Day is about as rebellious as I get, but I still feel pretty crazy. My revised rule is as long as there is no snow to blend in with, white pants are okay!

Bows and Boots...

Sometimes you just need a pop of pink to get you through these dreary, rainy days! Bright Hunters are best paired with dark colors to make them pop. Also, can we talk about how cute these bow tights are?! They add the perfect amount of girlyness to any outfit!
