Surprisingly enough, I did not get decked out in bright colors for Cinco de Mayo. It was finally a nice day in New York so I decided to roll with the warm weather and went for a more Mexican beach wear inspired look.
This dress from Ann Taylor Loft was perfect for Cinco de Mayo! Its made of linen so automatically it looks like you should be walking off the beach. The shape of the dress also lent itself to the beach theme. The loose shape with a drawstring waist is perfect for warm, sticky days on the beach.
I had to have some color for Cinco de Mayo though! I love the striped detailing of the dress and I decided to play up the orangey redish color with an orange purse and Raybans! It makes the whole outfit pop and gives it the brightness of Cinco de Mayo!
