A Little Bit of Paris in Upstate...

Oh hello again, its been awhile. After an amazing vacation in Nashville and Colorado I am back to blogging! I thought this little number would be a great start!

Whenever I see a black and white striped top I automatically think of Paris style. When paired with a little white bubble skirt, this outfit is perfect for a Parisian night. The look is completed with a floppy hat, cat eye sunglasses, and a pop of red. 

Leather and Stripes and Everything Nice...

This white skirt from J.Crew is the perfect blank canvas for any outfit. It has such a girly shape, that for my first outfit I wanted to toughen it up! (this is about as tough as I get) The leather and stripes are really what made this outfit stand out. I can't wait to wear this skirt into fall with plaid and even for a pop of white in winter!

Palm Tree's on my Shorts...

Well, these shorts are certainly some good motivation to do some squats. But they are so cute I couldn't help but to wear them. Palm print has definitely been such a big trend of the summer and I totally hopped on board. Even in Upstate NY, it puts you right into a tropical vibe!

Basic Neutrals...

This look might be one of my favorites of the summer which totally shocks me! Usually I fill my summer up with bright obnoxiously colored outfits but this summer I have seen the tides turn. I have been reaching more for neutrals and (gasp!) even black! I'm not so sure what has made me change but I notice a significant change in my style year to year so maybe this year will be filled with more neutrals!

This cardigan is going to be my favorite all through fall and winter! It is lightweight so it doesn't feel restricting but it also is super comfy. The legnth makes it trendy and a must for any outfit! I also will apolgize in advanced for being a boring blogger and wearing these shoes with basically every outfit for the next three months. They are beyond comfy and literally go with everything!

Summer to Fall Leather...

This leather skirt is a perfect statement item for every season! The reason it is so versatile is because of the light tan color and the flirty shape. It is easily taken from season to season by just changing the tops and shoe choice. 

This particular outfit can be transitioned just by throwing on a denim jacket. In my opinion, that is the best way to bring summer clothes into fall! I am totally not ready for fall, but I need to start thinking about it soon enough because our two weeks of summer in Upstate New York is going to be over pretty soon!

white on white on white...

This is a wholeee lotta white! And I was so proud of myself because I made it through the whole work day and even dinner without spilling anything on myself! This is a near impossible feat for me. I have never been so careful before!

White jeans are not my favorite thing to wear because they simply are not flattering. It took me awhile to even find a pair I felt comfortable in. They are such a crisp, blank base for an outfit that I love the look of them, just not how they look on me. The pair I found that I kind of like it from The Limited. Their jeans are great when you first put them on put at the end of the day they get so stretched out. So I am still on the hunt for the perfect white jeans! Let me know if you have any favorites!
